Principle of Home Pressure Reducing Valve

Open the globe valve, water flows from the inlet through the globe valve disc into the lower cavity of the pressure relief valve, the pressure decreases after the relief valve port throttles and enters the upper cavity and outlet, the water entering the upper cavity acts on the lower part of the core piston, this force acts on the valve core with the main spring force on the upper part of the valve core. The disc is in a certain position and the outlet pressure is maintained when the upper and lower forces are balanced. If the spring force increases, the valve core moves down and the outlet pressure increases. If the spring force decreases or the outlet pressure increases, the valve core moves upwards and the outlet pressure decreases and returns to the original value.

Installation and Commissioning of Home Pressure Reducing Valve

When installing, the globe valve of the valve shall be closed. The factory pressure setting value is 1.2Mpa of inlet and 0.2-0.25Mpa of the outlet. If the outlet pressure is to be changed on site, screw off the PVC plug screw on the cover and adjust the adjusting screw inside the cover. Adjust the screw to turn inward and the outlet pressure increases, when screw outward, the outlet pressure decreases. For specific use, please consult ZECO Valve Group.
