The charging for new Li-ion cells

As the lithium cell will enter the hibernation state if it is not used for a long time, the capacity of the battery will be lower than the normal value under this circumstance, and the use time of the cell will also be shortened. Therefore, it is necessary to activate the lithium-ion battery cells before the first use. The activation method of a lithium-ion rechargeable battery cell is very simple. The 3-5 times of normal charge and discharge process can activate the cell and restore its normal capacity.

The life of a lithium ion rechargeable battery cell is independent of the number of charges and discharges. It has no memory effects.
