The Processing of Teflon Bellows

Bellows is a corrugated tube shaped elastic part which can be used in the component of the mechanical seal compensation ring, which can be expanded under the external force or self elastic force and compensates the auxiliary seal of the ring. The bellows type agitator mechanical seal design has no relative sliding on the shaft, no abrasion on the shaft, and good follow-up, and is widely applied to the pump products, like water pump seals . HTB series anti-corrosion engineering plastic pumps are widely used in petrochemical, mining, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and are used to transport toxic and harmful chemical media including acid, alkali, pulp and sewage. Corrugated pipe is made of three sections of solid Teflon, Teflon filled with glass fiber and Teflon filled with carbon fiber. Bellows have different properties and uses for different materials: 1) Teflon containing carbon fiber has the properties of high tensile strength, corrosion resistance and wear resistance; 2) Pure PTFE has a density of 2.29 g/cm' and a water absorption rate of less than 0.01%. It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, aging resistance, high temperature resistance, good mechanical toughness and elasticity, so that the seal has compression and resilience and permanent deformation is small; 3) The Teflon containing glass fiber is resistant to aging and corrosion, and the dimensional stability is good, so that the sealing parts can achieve ideal matching status in assembly.
