The Scalpel HT has been redesigned from the ground up for 2022. The bike was developed for use at the highest speeds, for maximum pedalling efficiency and long-distance capability. Cannondale uses its Proportional Response Design technology to achieve this. This means that not only the main frame grows with each frame size, but also the chainstays become proportionally longer. This means that you always sit in a central position on the bike. Furthermore, Cannondale has kept the steering angle flatter compared to its predecessor. The 67° steering angle combined with a longer wheelbase, central seating position and the 100mm XC suspension fork RockShox SID SL Select+ provide extremely high stability and control on descents. The Scalpel HT Carbon 3 is equipped with a powerful Shimano Deore brake system and 1-finger brake levers. This allows you to brake even later on every turn. The high-quality mix of XT and SLX shifting components and the steep seat angle of 74.5° will get you up every climb.
