Features of I Beam
What are the characteristics of Structural Steel I Beam
I-beam is an economical section steel with better section mechanical properties. Its characteristics are as follows:
Wide flange and high lateral stiffness. Strong bending resistance used in galvanized steel villa.
The two surfaces of the flange are parallel to each other, which makes the connection, processing and installation easy.
Compared with general section steel, it has low cost, high precision, small residual stress, no need for expensive welding materials and weld inspection, saving about 30% of the cost of steel structure production.
