DESCRIPTION
ALC 0315 CAS: 2036272-55-4 is an ionizable aminolipid, a colorless oily material, one of four constituents that form lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) that encapsulate and protect the fragile mRNAs that are the active ingredients of these pharmaceuticals. Responsible for mRNA compression and aids in mRNA cellular delivery and its cytoplasmic release through suspected endosomal destabilization. Lipid nanoparticles have been used in mRNA COVID-19 vaccine research.
