Digital LED backlights module with high reliability

This is a LED lighting system based on novel techniques of “Digital discrete current constant driving”. A SCM (single chip microcomputer) is used to control all the LED drivers working independently. The system combines all the advantages of common current constant and voltage constant driving, thus it can be applied in various fields, especially suitable for large size LED lighting panel.

This novel LED lighting system has the advantages as below.

- Highly energy saving

It is about 30% energy saving more than normal LED lighting system. Because no current limiting resistance is used, the system offers much less power consumption than voltage constant driving. As the working current for each module is precisely controlled, it is more energy saving than common current constant system.

- High reliability

Because the discrete current constant driving is applied, the value of working current of each LED module is modified to be precisely matching the electrical parameters. The LED can work stably for long period. Further more, metal substrate panel is used as reflector, which is also highly effective for heat removing. The life time of this system is double as conventional current constant driven SMD LED, while triple as voltage constant driven SMD LED.

- Low cost and convenient application

Various unit panel of different size are available. There are two interfaces in each unit, which makes the connection with other units very convenient. Brightness is tunable by wireless controlling.

The product has been certified by CE, European Energy Efficiency (A++) and Chinese Standard GB7000.
