The Si4438 is specifically targeted at the Chinese meter market for reliable, long-range communication. The device exhibits exceptional output power up to +20 dBm with its integrated on-chip PA, outstanding receive sensitivity of –124 dBm while achieving extremely low active and standby current consumption. The active mode TX current consumption of 75 mA at +20 dBm and active RX current consumption of 14 mA coupled with extremely low 40 nA standby current and fast wake times ensure extended battery life in the most demanding applications.
