AlNiCo disc magnets are a type of permanent magnet made from an alloy of aluminum, nickel, and cobalt, along with other trace elements. These magnets are known for their strong magnetic properties, high coercivity, and excellent resistance to demagnetization. They are commonly used in applications such as electric motors, sensors, loudspeakers, and various other industrial and scientific applications.
AlNiCo disc magnets have a disc or cylindrical shape with a flat circular face and are typically magnetized through the thickness or diameter. They come in a range of sizes and magnetic strengths, from small ones that can fit on the tip of a finger to larger ones that can hold several kilograms of weight.
One of the unique properties of AlNiCo disc magnets is that they have a high Curie temperature, which means they can maintain their magnetic properties at high temperatures. This makes them useful in high-temperature applications where other types of magnets, such as neodymium magnets, may lose their magnetism.
