Bimetal composite pipes takes carbon steel or low alloy steel pipe as base pipe and CRA pipe as layer or lining pipe， by patented technology and special equipment, it is produced in a special metallurgical or mechanical process to guarantee a tight bonding between base pipe and layer or lining pipe and combines strength of carbon steel or low alloy steel and corrosion resistance of CRA into one innovated pipe which is cost effective and reliable.
Bimetal metallurgically Clad Pipes
SunnySteel adopts unique solid-phase diffusion process to produce bimetal metallurgically clad pipe which has bond strength of at least 137.8Mpa (20000psi). It suits the applications with demanding requirements for special forming and constant temperature or pressure change. We can produce bimetal metallurgically clad pipes with outer diameter of 15mm～168.3mm and cut-length of 3～12m.
• Bimetal mechanically Lined Pipes
We produce bimetal mechanically lined pipes using unique hydraulic forming technique to achieve a perfect bond between base pipe and lining pipe. The great advantage of hydraulic forming technique is that the pressure can be distributed equally over the girth, therefore achieve a perfect bond. This process could minimize the surface damage of CRA lining pipe. By seal welding or bead welding, the end of lined pipe is convenient for site assembly. We can produce bimetal mechanically lined pipes with outer diameter of 15mm～1118mm and cut-length of 3～12m.
• CRA Longitudinally Welded Pipes
Our welding process is the most advanced way of producing welded pipes with a variety of specifications and materials such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium alloys. We can meet customers' satisfaction in large-diameter, thin-wall, straightness, roundness and other technical requirements,guarantee corrosion resistance performance of the CRA longitudinally welded pipe.
Comparison in Cost：
The prior cost of oil and gas gathering & transportation pipeline using carbon steel with corrosion inhibitor is the lowest, but it will exceed the cost of bimetal composite pipe in 7 years; the bimetal composite pipe has higher prior cost than corrosion inhibitor, but has lower maintenance cost, which has obvious cost advantage than other corrosion prevention plans.
