Candida antarctica Lipase B (CALB) is a widely studied and utilized enzyme due to its unique catalytic properties and broad applications across various industries. CALB is employed in the transesterification of triglycerides to produce biodiesel. Its ability to catalyze reactions in non-aqueous media makes it suitable for converting oils and fats into biofuels
