The wet sludge will be fed at one end of the cylinder with the help of belt conveyer. The declining cylinder with paddles in it will rotate slowly and move the sludge forward to the other end of the cylinder. Meanwhile, the hot air (600-700 degree C) from the wood furnace will be blown into the cylinder in the contrary direction with the sludge. The sludge will be dried during the heat transfer between hot air and sludge. The exhaust gas from the cylinder will be treated by cyclone and scrubber which will reduce the dust content to 50 mg/M3.
