Coated Steel

Powder coated carbon steel is a type of steel that was applied with an additional layer of organic or metallic materials on its surface to protect from rusting and reduce wear/tear. Usually, the coating layer is applied to flat steel when it is in a coil form. By coating the steel, an extra layer of protection is added.

Coated steel products can be categorized into three main categories: metallic coated steel, organic coated steel (non-metallic), and tinplates. coated steel products is commonly used in applications where corrosion resistance or aesthetic appeal is of great importance, such as air conditioners, automotive parts, outdoor electrical boxes, etc.

Hot-dip galvanizing refers to the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel sheet or iron sheet, in order to prevent rusting.

Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Coil

Also known as galvalume or zincalume steel, aluzinc steel is a form of cold rolled galvanized steel with metal coating composed of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc, and 1.6% silicon.

Aluzinc Steel Coil

Also known as pre-coated steel, coil coated steel, color coated steel etc., pre-painted galvanized steel coil (PPGI) is evenly covered with a layer of zinc.

Pre-painted Galvanized Steel Coil

Tinplates are a light gauge, cold-reduced low-carbon steel sheet or strip, coated on both faces with commercially pure tin.
