Introduction of Lime Rotary Kiln:

Lime rotary kiln are used for produce active lime and light burned dolomite used in steel roasting plants and ferroalloy Factory.

Relatively speaking, co-firing lime kiln material distributing is very critical because it feed the fuel and limestones into kiln simultaneously, and must achieve burden are reasonable distribution in the kiln, eliminate the furnace wall effect, balanced resistance in furnace, to achieve whole furnace section of "lit" uniform.

Structure of Lime Rotary Kiln:

Advantages of Lime Rotary Kiln:

1. Advanced structure, low pressure loss of vertical preheater can effectively improve the preheating effect, after preheated limestone enter into kiln, the decomposition rate can achieve up to 20-25%, and can use 10-15mm fine grade limestone directly.

2. Lime Rotary kiln each ends are modular sealing. So that air leakage coefficient less than 10%, using composite refractory to reduce radiant heat loss.

Working Process of Lime Rotary Kiln

Limestone and fuel into the lime kiln (if fuel gas pipelines,and the burner into) began to decompose after preheating to 850 degrees,1200 degrees to complete calcination,after cooling discharged out of the kiln.

Quick lime production is completed. Different kiln form have different preheating,calcination,cooling and discharging mode.

But there are several process principle is the same:

Advantages

4). Vertical preheater has been equipped at the end of the kiln to make full use of high-temperature gases generated during calcining. It can preheat limestone to the decomposition conditions. In this way, it helps not only to increase the output, but also to decrease the heat consumption.

5). The equipped vertical cooler at the head of the kiln can help cool the high-temperature limestone, as well as make it convenient to convey and store. Besides, it can effectively increase the temperature inside the kiln, thus reducing the fuel consumption.

6). Waste gases, discharged from the vertical preheater, have a temperature ranging from 280°C to 350°C, and their dust content is about 20g/Nm3. So it is easy to deal with these gases according to the requirements of environmental protection.
