We measure our hair from the start of the weft to the tip of the hair for accurate measurement. What is the width of a weft? This varies as the longer the hair is, the shorter the weft is. How much hair is needed for a full install? Golden South Hair usually recommend a minimum of 2 bundles (200 grams) for lengths 12" - 16" and 3 bundles (300 grams) for lengths 18" and upwards for a full install.However, all of this also depends on your desired volume and/or style you are trying to achieve, your stylist, the size of your head etc. We have had customers who are happy with results of 2 bundles and other customers who were satisfied with a minimum of 4 bundles. Yes, Natural Color hair extensions can be coloured as much as you like with no problems. Yes, we do provide a colouring service so do visit the product page you are interested in and you will see our shade chart. Can I go swimming with my hair extensions? Yes. You can swim with your extensions as much as you like and nothing will happen (although if you styled it with heat prior to swimming, once you go swimming it will revert to its natural wavy/curly state). Just make sure you wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo to get rid of any chemicals and dirt then follow up with a moisturizing conditioner and air dry or blow dry; whichever you prefer. How long will my new hair last? Your hair will last as long as you take care of it. As our hair extensions are 100% Virgin Remy hair, the hair will already have a great life span.
