Multihead Weigher Working Principle

The multihead combination weigher machine, or the so-called computer combination weigher normally utilizes different weigh heads to measure the precise weight of the products. After the product is fed into the top of the multihead combination weigher, the inner dispersal system of the weigher will then start to work. This system will distribute the product. With the help of the linear feed plates, different linear feeders will deliver some product into the feed hopper. For example, if you are using a 14-head multihead head weigher machine, then there will normally be 14 linear feeders which will deliver products to 14 feed hoppers. After the products are transferred to the hopper, the load cell will then start to calculate the weight of product in the weigh hopper and the processor in the multihead weigher machine will then calculate the best combination of the available weights required, so as to achieve the desired target weight.
