Non-rotating Stabilizer
Non-rotating stabilizer(rubber sleeve stabilizer) is able to avoid blade wear and wall damage during. The non-rotating stabilizer consists of mandrel. Copper washer, rubber sleeve, spacer sleeve and self-locking lower sub.
During drilling, the non-rotating stabilizer transfers the torque by means of mandrel. The rubber sleeve is sliding and moving relative to the mandrel and it plays a role in stabilizer the well. A locking clutch(self-locking lower sub) will help to avoid sleeve relation during washover operation.
The Non-Rotating Stabiliser mandrel and sleeve can rotate freely and independently of each other whilst the milled flutes along the length of the sleeve provide an adequate bypass path for fluid and cuttings during operations. The stabiliser sleeves can be easily interchanged to suit the working ID whilst utilising the same mandrel for ease of use and inventory reduction.
