Omel metering and chemical injection systems

Omel produces and markets a complete line of metering pumps and also manufactures and markets metering and chemical injection systems.

An Omel dosing system consists of a set of metering pumps, with or without tanking (depending on the project and the customer needs), control panels and other instruments.

An Omel dosing system can use either piston metering pumps and or diaphragm metering pumps. It can also use other positive displacement pumps like the peristaltic pumps, the pneumatic pumps, the gear pumps, among others.

Omel dosing systems can pump up water, but most often are used to pump fluid products (toxic contaminants or not), chemical products and various other types of solutions and blends, being widely used in the oil industry in offshore installations (e.g. drilling or pumping, FPSO vessels, platforms) or on-shore facilities (e.g. refineries, pumping facilities, loading or unloading terminals, pumping terminals) or in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, or in chemical treatment of industrial effluents, in food industries, soaps and other detergents industries among others.

To meet the wide range of products to be measured, Omel dosing systems, can be mounted in a variety of materials, with proper drive, with steering commands or by various types of instruments or systems (local control panel, PLC, SCADA systems, among others).

Omel metering systems can be customized according to the requirement of customer engineering or designed and engineered to meet the real needs of that customer, according to accepted standards.

Omel metering systems form a compact skid unit and can receive the following accessories and instruments according to the needs and requirements of customers:

Metering pumps of various types (diaphragm, piston, peristaltic, gear);
Rotameters and flowmeters;
Storage tanks in plastic, metal or fiberglass;
Metal bases with or without contention dike;
Instruments for pH control, viscosity, density, concentration;
Static mixers;
Dynamic mixers;
Agitators;
Homogenizers;
Control panel;

The systems are delivered assembled or semi-assembled for final assembly by the customer. Our technicians can assist customers during start-up if required.
