RTV-2 silicone rubber

Application of RTV-2 silicone rubber:
RTV-2 silicone rubber mainly used for shoe molds, sand casting, sole sampling, plaster models, simple products, products with non-complex patterns, as well as product models with stable size and non-deformation.

RTV-2 Silicone rubber for mold making features
RTV-2 Silicon rubber for mold making is white or red flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-50A°after curing. Molding silicon rubber is a kind elastic silicon rubber mold which features with resistance to deformation, high-temperature, acid-alkali and expansion as well as high reproduction times, good tensile strength ,tear strength and elongation.

Operation instruction of RTV-2 silicone rubber:

RTV-2 silicone rubber is composed of two components.Component A is white flowing liquid while component B is the curing agent.
Steps:
a.take silicone rubber of 100g and add 2% curing agent for mixing evenly.
b. After the silicone rubber and the curing agent are completely mixed, put the silicon into a vacuum machine for deairing to remove the bubbles.
c.After deaired, pouring the liquid silicone rubber into the product to be duplicated or into the mold frame.

Note: RTV-2 silicone rubber is used for pouring or brushing technique. That is to say,firstly fix the product or sole model to be duplicated onto a plane plate, then enclose the plane frame with wooden plates to prevent the leakage of the silicon ,thirdly mix the silicone rubber and the curing agent evenly according to the mixing ratio of 100 : 2 and pour them onto the sole model, at last brush evenly with a wooden plate or a brush, and fill up the mold frame with gypsum after the silicone rubber is dried.

Storage and Precautions of RTV-2 silicone rubber :

RTV-2silicone rubber, which is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about one year from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It cancontinue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
