The fuel oil resistance：Fluorine rubber FKM and fluorosilicone rubber FMVQ have the best resistance to fuel oil. And chloroprene rubber and chlorinated polyethylene rubber CPE have the worst fuel resistance. The fuel resistance of butadiene rubber increases with the increase of acrylonitrile content. The fuel resistance of chlorohydrin rubber is better than that of butyl rubber.

Fuel tolerance: Fluorosilicone rubber FMVQ and fluorine rubber FKM have the best resistance to mixed fuel oil. Acrylate rubber is the least resistant to mixed fuel. The mixture fuel resistance of butadiene rubber increased with the increase of acrylonitrile. Fluorinated rubber with high fluorine content is good for the stability of mixed fuel.

Acid oxidation resistance: For acid oxidation of fuel oil, acid oxidation of hydrogen peroxide on fuel can worsen the performance of the vulcanizates, so commonly used in the fuel system of nitrile butadiene rubber, chlorohydrin rubber is difficult to meet the requirements of use for a long time.

Only fluorinated elastomers such as fluorine rubber FKM, fluorosilicone rubber FMVQ, fluorinated phosphorus and hydrogenated butadiene rubber have good performance.

Ordinary Nitrile butadiene rubber, cannot work long hours at 125 - degree acid gasoline. Only the low sulfur, which is activated by cadmium oxide, can be used as the main raw material of the sulfide and white carbon black.
