Hydrolysate of 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane

SiSiB® PC1106 is an aqueous solution of 3 Aminopropylsilanetriol. SiSiB® PC1106 hydrolysate is an amino-functional silane which acts as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials (glass, metals and fillers) and organic polymers (thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers)

SiSiB® PC1106 amino silane is a colorless to slightly yellowish aqueous solution with an aminelike odor, miscible, with s or water. SiSiB® AP1160 contains about 40% active silane content in water. It is similar to Momentive's A-1106, Evonik's Dynasylan 1151.

Application

SiSiB® PC1106 is an important silicone additive in Waterborne Sealants, Waterborne Coatings, Waterborne Adhesives, Filler Treatment, Insulation Glass Fiber Binders, and Water based Primers.

SiSiB® PC1106 is most often used in aqueous systems where the of hydrolysis causes instability of the formulation or where a high flash point additive is required.

SiSiB® PC1106 silane adhesion promoter can improve mechanical properties, (such as flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength and modulus of elasticity), moisture and corrosion resistance); also can improve processing properties, like adhesion, better filler dispersion, high flash point etc.

Packing and Storage

SiSiB® PC1106 is supplied in 200Kg steel drum or 1000Kg IBC container.

In the unopened original container SiSiB® PC1106 has a shelf life of one year in a dry and cool place.
