Slide gate plate
The Slide Gate Plate System is used to cast molten steel into tundish or ingots in a controlled manner. The Slide Gate Plates are placed outside the ladle and consist of two refractory plates – one fixed and another moving. The fixed plate is also called top plate and sliding plate is also called bottom plate.
We mainly manufacture the unburned slide gate plate as follows:

HYRE series of fired slide plates at high-temperatures show the features of high strength, good erosion resistance and excellent thermal shock resistance. The products are the best choice for large and medium sized ladles and con-casting tundishes. PN series of slide plates fired at high-temperatures cover Al2O3-C based, Al2O3-ZrO2C based and magnesia-spinel based, which can meet various needs of different steel grades.
