The stainless steel has much better physical properties then iron and normal steel, but it possesses worse casting properties. Because the stainless steel has higher melting temperature point, by the liquid form it has worse flowability and bigger shrinkage ratio, and more easier to be oxidized. To prevent the happening of defects such as crack, sand stick, under-pounding etc., a series of more complicated technics are applied in the casting, thus the success rate of casting stainless steel is able to greatly be improved.

The Features of stainless steel precision casting

Take higher metal temperature reach to 1520~1600℃. For the small and complicated structure part keep the pouring temperature to melting point +150℃; for the big and thick wall part keep the pouring temperature to melting point +100℃;

Make bigger and simpler gating tunnel;

Use dry or heated casting mold;

Make sure the casting product wall thickness is as even as possible and over 8mm, optimize the part structure in sharp corner and edge;

Improve air permeability and passing ability by using hollow mold core or oil-sand core, or add coke with it.
