Steel Stanchions

According to YB/T4001.2-2007 standard, HY steel railings adopts ball joint design, of which carbon steel or stainless steel are both available for customers. Steel stanchions or steel handrails is heavier and stronger than aluminum stanchions. Also steel railings without balls is an option for different projects. There are P type, S type, C type, W type, SC type, AM type for steel stanchions, and many sizes for customers' reference. HY offers components e.g. Steel stanchions, steel , kick plates, base plates, bends, steel balls etc. We can also fabricate special type steel stanchions according to customers' requirements.

For carbon steel stanchion handrail, grade of Q235 is most commonly used. Regarding on surface treatment, hot-dip galvanized, painted and untreated are available, of which hot-dip galvanized is most recommended.

Customers usually require for galvanized handrails or stainless steel stanchions as outdoor stanchions. Steel railings is also required as stainless balustrades.
