In 2011, the six-year-long patent dispute between Hongyuan and OSRAM finally came to an end and the definitive judgment from Higher People's Court of Shanghai Municipality and Beijing Municipality declared that Hongyuan absolutely won the lawsuit. Hongyuan finally proved to the world the LVD induction lamp ownership of core technology independent intellectual property, and became the first case that Chinese private enterprise wins the international giants, which made a sensation in the global lighting industry. This case has been filed as one of the classic MBA cases by Tsinghua and Beijing University, and has also been listed as one of the top ten Chinese classic cases of intellectual property !
