Victaulic flexible/rigid couplings

Victaulic flexible and rigid couplings are made of ductile iron (nodular cast iron). A coupling consists of two C-shaped housings, a rubber gasket, two bolts and nuts. It is an effective and convenient solution to steel pipe connection for gas, oil and water transportation. Flexible couplings enable the pipeline to deflect a little at the joints, and allows certain offset between the pipe ends jointed together. After connection, there is a clearance between the end faces of the connected to allow certain expanding or shrinkage of the . Rigid couplings make the pipeline inflexible. It aids the pipeline connected in maintaining its rigidity and straightness. This is especially effective where the supports or suspenders of the pipeline are far between.
