What materials are there for belt vulcanizing joint ?
When we do conveyor belt joint , what we first do is to choose materials.
Though there are many kinds of materials on domestic market, it is not an easy thing to choose one suitable kind.
How to choose the right kind?
Before answering this question, first we need know which joint method do you want to use?
To do belt vulanizing joint , there are two methods in domestic, one is cold vulcanizing, the other is in hot way.
These two methods are both practice, their different just is the choose of the kind of vulcanizing materials.
Only after we knowing the joint way , we could choose the right materials .
When we do belt joint in cold vulcanizing way, what we need are : cold glue sk313, repair strip with CN bonding layer and industrial cleaning solution sk353.
Using cold glue sk313 as main adhesive the to bond repair strip to conveyor belt,this can make the both bonding sides have vulcanizing action , which will bond them firmly.
After repair , the glue won't easy to unsticked , and conveyor belt can be back to run soon .
When we do belt joint in hot vulanzing way , what we need are: hot solution, uncuerd cover and intermediate rubber.
Using hot glue sk823 as main adhesive, together with uncured cover and intermediate rubber and under the pressure and heating from vulcanizing press we can do hot joint.
This can make uncured cover and intermedaite rubber and the belt steelcord to be melted and bonded together at high strength .
Belt layers are compacted and no bubbles be trapped.
After hot vulcanizing joint, belt will have a longer working life ,do not easy to be unsticked, break or the steel cord be pulled off .
From aboved description, believe we'v already have a certain understanding about belt vulcaniznig joint .besides these,we need have a note that the sealing of belt joint must be done
good. Good sealing will prevent dusts drop in and effectively protect the bonding strength,as well as improve flexibility of joint parts and assure the integrity of the conveyor belt, so as to prevent the belt from the second damage.
