The six-year-long patent dispute between Hongyuan and OSRAM, a wholly - owned subsidiary of Germany's Siemens finally came to an end and the definitive judgment from Higher People's Court of Shanghai Municipality and Higher People's Court of Beijing Municipality declared that Hongyuan absolutely won the lawsuit, which was noted as one of China′s top 10 international intellectual property dispute cases for it was a David and Goliath classic case of the anti-intellectual property monopoly.
