Stainless Steel Grating

Stainless steel grates, or ss grating is a little weightier than mild steel grating, stainless steel gratings,it doesn't need any surface treatment as stainless grating's surface is smooth and stainless is born to be anti rust and corrosion resistant. Stainless bar grating is loved by people as its glossy surface. There are kinds of material grades for stainless steel grating, like SS304, SS316, SS316L, SS310, SS310S and so on.

Process for stainless steel grating is similar to that for mild steel grating, only different from surface treatment. You can choose plain, serrated, and I-bar types of bearing bars for ss grating, while twisted bars, square bars and round bars are available for cross bars. Spacing for stainless steel grating are the same as that of mild steel grating. There are two ways of welding, machine welding and hand welding. Press the cross bars into the bearing bars and weld to make the steel grating firmed. When using hand welding, we need to perforate holes on the bearing bars and put cross bars in the holes then weld by hand, which is less elegant than welding by machine.
