Features: excellent corrosion resistance of strong alkali solution,has excellent corrosion resistance to the carbonate,nitrate,chloride,vinegar,salt alkaline,neutral solution medium.At the same time,fatty acid resistance,and stable in performance in the air,fresh water and sea water.
Application: alkali industry,chlor-alkali chemical and organic chloride production,food processing,production of vacuum electrical parts,electronic instruments,water treatment and temperature halogen,etc.
Melting point is 2980 ℃,is second to the tungsten and rhenium.Pure tantalum is light blue color with excellent plasticity,can be rolled into very thin board( less than 0.01 mm)without intermediate annealing in cold state.The Electronic work function is lower than tungsten, molybdenum and other refractory metal,because the ,it has been applicated in the power vacuum technology due to its weak electron emission ability .The ability of anti corrosion is same to glass, in the middle temperature(about 150 ℃)only fluoride,hydrofluoric acid,three sulphur dioxide( including uming sulfuric acid ),alkali and some molten salthave influence on it.
